Edge computing is a key enabler for many solutions involving a spectrum of emerging technologies ranging from AI (Artificial Intelligence) to 5G. This report discusses challenges with deploying edge, beginning with the basic edge-enablement of existing assets, but also discussing the potential for multiple parties to access the same (or similar) edge data ultimately leading to the concept of edge application stores and data sharing with third parties.
