One of the key research areas of interest for Transforma Insights is best practice in the delivery of Digital Transformation (DX) projects. An integral part of this research is understanding the suppliers of products and services which are used to deliver enterprise DX projects. It is valuable for vendors to understand their competitive environment and for buyers to understand who should be on their short-list. There is a group of vendors, which we term Digital Transformation Service Providers (DXSPs), that are able to support the implementation of a range of business transformation use cases for enterprise clients using a variety of disruptive technologies.
This report is the first in a series from Transforma Insights which looks at the DXSP market. The series will provide our views on which vendors are best able to deliver Digital Transformation projects based on their capabilities. In this report we define the market, look at which vendors should be considered as DXSPs, and explore the six main dimensions which will define any organisation’s ability to deliver on a DX project: phase, function, solution, capability, context and industry.
