Any enterprise considering developing and deploying an IoT solution will, at some point, more than likely consider options to use an IoT AEP (Application Enablement Platform) to support the development. At Transforma Insights, we think that that’s a sensible thing to do, but also that there’s more to the story than simply picking an AEP that appears ‘top right’ in a matrix of (say) technical capabilities vs ability to deploy. In this report we draw on extensive analysis of IoT platforms undertaken for our IoT Platform Peer Benchmarking Report to make recommendations for enterprises on the considerations they should have in mind when selecting an AEP, including solution and industry match, capabilities and commercial terms.

AI, DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND IOT REPORTS & MORE

Transforma Insights’ series of Digital Transformation research covers all aspects of the Digital Transformation technologies, markets and vendors that we cover, including Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Technology Insight Reports provide a qualitative guide to the impact of the twelve technology families upon which we focus, Case Study Insight Reports analyse the information in the Best Practice & Vendor Selection Database, Forecast Insight Reports expand upon the data in the TAM Forecasts, Key Topic Insight Reports cover other interesting and noteworthy topics, and Vendor Insight Reports identify the relative strengths and weaknesses of vendors and show which should be top of any buyer's list when implementing Digital Transformation. A more detailed version of the Vendor Insight Reports is available for our ‘Corporate’ subscribers in the form of our Peer Benchmarking reports detailing the capabilities of vendors within the market being examined.

Digital Transformation Reports are far from the only way that we help our clients. We offer comprehensive support, strategic insight and market intelligence for any organisation interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Transformation (DX).
