On 27th May 2020 Transforma Insights partnered with the Industrial Internet Consortium to run a webinar looking at the experiences that organisations have had with their real world IoT deployments. During that webinar we shared some key findings from our extensive and detailed research on real-world IoT implementations, as contained in the Best Practice & Vendor Selection Database. We also published an infographic with a summary of some of the findings (below).
Attached here is the presentation that Jim and Matt delivered, looking at things such as: Which IoT projects are quickest to deploy and fastest to pay back? Which deployments have the greatest business risk impact and transformational potential? What are the characteristics of successful IoT deployments, including technology choices, application architecture and profile of the field assets?
Armed with this information enterprises can make informed decisions on what IoT projects to choose and how to deploy them.
